He covered high school sports on several occasions as well as the Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Cardinals and Arizona State sports. Xavier teams are eXcellent again

The new week began on Monday (Sept. 15) with a trio of XCP teams seeing action and securing victories.
Golf once again was dominant in a match at McDowell Mountain Ranch in Scottsdale.
The Gators outdistanced host Scottsdale Desert Mountain, 141-202.
Junior Alisa Snyder was medalist with 33 for nine holes (par 72 for 18). Sophomore Emily Mahar was second with a 35.
Sophomore Elizabeth Caldarelli was third at 36, while senior Ariana Macioce and junior Mikayla Fitzpatrick tied for fourth at 37.
Weather permitting, the Gators are set to face Phoenix Horizon and Phoenix Pinnacle on Wednesday (Sept. 17) at Camelback Country Club.
The varsity and junior-varsity badminton teams made a successful trip to Chandler High and came home with 7-2 and 9-0 victories, respectively. Next up is a home match on Wednesday against Tempe High.
The varsity volleyball team ran its record to 5-1 by sweeping host Mesa High, 25-16, 25-22 and 25-17.
Laine Wagner led the Gators with seven kills and Khalia Lanier had six. Callie Jones and Kristen Largay each had 18 digs and Molly Scheel had 12.
Xavier was due to meet rival Phoenix St. Mary’s at home on Tuesday (Sept. 16).
