The XCP track and field team scored another victory on
Wednesday (April 15), defeating fellow Catholic schools Chandler Seton and
Scottsdale Notre Dame Prep.
Senior Jenna Fitzgerald led the way with victories in the
100-meter hurdles (16.62 seconds) and the pole vault (10 feet, 6 inches) and a
second-place finish in the 300-meter hurdles (50.60).
Sophomore Annie Grant earned victories in the 200-meter dash
(27.93) and the 300-meter hurdles (49.03).
Xavier’s next meet is April 24 at the Toro Invitational hosted
by Mesa Mountain View. Start time is 2 p.m.
