Senior Alisa Snyder, who recently captured the Division I
state individual championship, has been named the Girls Golfer of the Year by The Arizona Republic and azcentral.com.
Snyder, a left-hander, won by two shots over Scottsdale
Chaparral’s Kelly Su and helped Xavier win its 33rd state title in
school history.
This week, Snyder was honored when she and 15 other XCP
athletes signed their college letters of intent. Snyder will play at the
University of Michigan.
Snyder was named to The
Republic’s All-Arizona First Team, along with senior teammate Mikayla
Fitzpatrick and junior Emily Mahar. Fitzpatrick will play at Xavier in
Cincinnati.
Congratulations, ladies! Well-deserved!
