He covered high school sports on several occasions as well as the Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Cardinals and Arizona State sports. Xavier's Khalia Lanier is volleyball All-American

Multi-decorated Xavier Prep volleyball player Khalia Lanier has received another national honor.
The 6-foot-2 senior outside hitter has been named as one of 24 Under Armour First Team All-Americans. She is the only first teamer from Arizona.

 Lanier, who will play collegiately at Southern California, will participate in the Under Armour All-American Match and Skills Challenge on Dec. 18 in Omaha, Neb. The event is held in conjunction with the American Volleyball Coaches Association annual convention.
Xavier was due to host Tempe Corona del Sol in a Division I quarterfinal match on Thursday night (Nov. 5).
