He covered high school sports on several occasions as well as the Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Cardinals and Arizona State sports. Former XCP golfer is Freshman of the Year

Former Xavier Prep golfer Mikayla Fitzpatrick, playing for Xavier University in Cincinnati, has earned the BIG EAST Conference’s inaugural Freshman of the Year award.
Fitzpatrick was previously named to the all-conference first team.
She ranked seventh in the conference in scoring with an average of 76.48 strokes, covering 29 rounds over 10 tournaments.
Fitzpatrick tied for 10th in the conference championships in late April and had five top-25 finishes during the season.
Her best round was a 69, making her the eighth player in school history to shoot such a round.
