Swim-dive maneuvers past Mountain View

Chalk up another victory for the Xavier Prep swimmers and divers.

The Gators rode wins in three relay races and three individual events for a 99-87 triumph over Mesa Mountain View on Thursday (Oct. 5) at the Kino Aquatic Complex in Mesa.

The 200-yard medley relay team won with freshmen Sydney Millane and Paola Guerra, sophomore Olivia Paliscak and senior Mary Roediger.

Also, the 200-yard freestyle relay with freshman Kelly Scott, sophomores Vica Dow and Maddie Wright and Roediger.

And the 400-yard freestyle relay group touched the wall first with Scott, Guerra, Wright and Dow.

Individual wins went to freshman Mia Rankin in the 200-yard individual medley and the 500-yard freestyle and Paliscak in the 100-yard butterfly.

Xavier now will have a bit of a break before participating in a relay exhibition with Phoenix Desert Vista and Mountain View at Brophy on Oct. 19.
