He covered high school sports on several occasions as well as the Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Cardinals and Arizona State sports. Xavier soccer keeps rolling, defeats Maryvale

Strong efforts by four players, including a pair of freshmen, were instrumental in Xavier Prep’s 11-1 soccer victory over host Phoenix Maryvale on Wednesday (Dec. 6).

Frosh Livi Castrichini had a three-goal hat trick and an assist and frosh Keila Lopez-Enriquez had two goals and an assist to lead the way.

Junior Elizabeth Warren also had a pair of goals and an assist and sophomore Kendall Warner had a goal and three assists.

Xavier (3-0-1) returns home to Petznick Field on Friday night at 6 to face Yuma Kofa, which has lost its only match thus far, to Tempe Corona del Sol.
