He covered high school sports on several occasions as well as the Arizona Diamondbacks, Arizona Cardinals and Arizona State sports. From 2008-14, he was a staff writer for AIA365.com, the web site of the Arizona Interscholastic Association.

Top-rated Pinnacle too much for Gator lacrosse

Xavier Prep’s club lacrosse team is going to have to figure out how to turn things around in its final two games of the regular season.

On Thursday night (April 11), the Gators traveled to face Phoenix Pinnacle, the top team in the Arizona Girls Lacrosse Association, and came away with their third straight loss 14-3.

Xavier is now 5-7, Pinnacle 11-1.

Xavier will have next week off for Spring Break, then play its final two regular-season matches, on April 24 at Scottsdale Chaparral and April 25 at home against Chandler Hamilton.
