Badminton team wins second straight match

Xavier Prep’s badminton team earned its second victory in a row on Monday (Sept. 9) with a 7-2 victory over visiting Glendale Mountain Ridge at the Activity Center. The JV triumphed by the same score.

The match was exciting, as three of the six singles battles went three sets and all three doubles meetings went three sets.

The Gators will be back in action on Tuesday (Sept. 10) with a home match against Phoenix Sandra Day O’Connor. Start time is 4 p.m.
