Xavier Prep
cross-country runners and badminton players were busy with competition on
Saturday (Sept. 14).
Some of XCP’s
top runners sat out the Ray Wherley Invitational at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical

points. Flagstaff High won with 68 points and Peoria Liberty was third with
160.
And Xavier, featuring
21 of the 73 entrants in the 5,000 Freshman/Sophomore race, won that team
competition with 37 points, ahead of Flagstaff (81) and Surprise Willow Canyon
