Sophomore
Ivy Song came up with what perhaps was her best round of the season thus far,
helping Xavier Prep to a six-shot victory over Chandler Hamilton and a 13-shot
advantage over Mesa Red Mountain in a three-way match at Phoenix Country Club
on Tuesday (Sept. 3).
Song shot a
4-under-par 32, one shot better than teammate Ashley Menne, a senior who
finished with a 3-under 33 and came home in the second spot.

scores: junior Mary Beth Doss, 1-under 35, tied for 3rd; senior
Breyana Matthews, even-par 36, tied for 8th; sophomore Kate Ryan,
1-over 37, tied for 10th; freshman Annie Dawson, 2-over 38, tied for
12th; junior Lauren Garcia, 4-over 40, tied for 14th.
