Doss shot an even-par 36 for nine holes. The rest of the top five were freshman Annie Dawson at 1-over 37, senior Ashley Menne at 2-over 38, senior Breyana Matthews at 3-over 39 and sophomore Ivy Song at 5-over 41.

Other Gator scores were:

Next up for Xavier is the Aguila Invitational on Friday (Sept. 20) and Saturday (Sept. 21) at the Aguila Golf Course in Laveen.

The XCP badminton team rebounded from a loss to Phoenix Pinnacle last week with a 6-3 victory on the road over Tempe Corona del Sol on Tuesday (Sept. 17). The JV also won 8-1.

The varsity record is at 4-2, while the JV is 5-1.
