From XCP to ASU, these golfers worth watching

Ashley Menne and Breyana Matthews graduated from Xavier Prep in 2020, but they have embarked on a new journey after joining the golf program at Arizona State.

The pair helped XCP maintain its high standing in four years under the guidance of co-head coaches Sr. Lynn Winsor and Tui Selvaratnam, and now are the subjects of player profiles by ASU’s Sports Information Department.

Menne’s profile was published on Nov. 2 and Matthews’ was published on Nov. 16.

The profiles include background on the players’ careers to date, along with a Q&A session with each.

To read the complete profiles, begin by going to the ASU Athletic Department Web site, thesundevils.com .

Then access the individual players on the golf team’s page . . .

We are all looking forward to following the progress of these two outstanding XCP players. They will be led at ASU by Head Golf Coach Missy Farr Kaye, also a Xavier graduate.
