Xavier riders are wheeling and dealing good results

CHOMP CHOMP! The Gators crushed it! All riders on the virtual podium!

That was the word out of Fountain Hills from Xavier Prep mountain bike coach Rich Perrott after four Xavier Prep riders were in top form in Saturday’s (Nov. 7) Cactus Cup Juniors race at McDowell Mountain Park.

The Gators had two event winners – Mary Hill in the freshman class and Aria Tseffos in the JV race. Hill covered the 8.6-mile course in 53:06, and Tseffos rode home at 59:01.

Xavier also had the No. 2 and No. 4 JV finishers, Chloe Lindeback (1:01.42) and Grace Morgan (1:03.34).

The final two races of the three-race series will be held on Nov. 28 and Dec. 5. The November race will be held at Estrella Mountain Park in Goodyear and the December ride will be held at Papago Park in Phoenix.
