After dropping its first two games to powerful Surprise Valley Vista and Chandler Hamilton, Xavier Prep’s basketball team earned its first victory on Tuesday night (Jan. 26), a 60-34 road triumph against Chandler Basha.

The Gators (1-2) will return home to the Activity Center on Thursday night (Jan. 28) for a contest against Chandler High (1-3). Opening tipoff is at 7 p.m. after games featuring the freshman-sophomore and junior varsity teams.
