Whittle down a full track meet to distance events and you get the Scottsdale Distance Classic.

The event was held at Saguaro High on Friday (April 9) while the first day of the annual Chandler Rotary was taking place at Chandler High. Second day of the Chandler Rotary was Saturday (April 10).

Xavier was well represented at the Scottsdale event with three runners each competing in the 800-meter run, the 1,600-meter run and the 3,200-meter run.
