Goforth goes 800, large Gator group in invite 3,200

 The inaugural Altis Carry the Shield Invitational was held for track and field athletes on Tuesday (April 20), and Xavier Prep was well represented in the middle- and long-distance running events.

Junior Tatum Goforth flew solo and finished fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.95.

The Gators had 10 runners in the 3,200-meter run.

Junior Karime Morales was the top finisher in the sixth spot with a time of 12:45.57.

Most of Xavier’s athletes will be competing in the Fr. Olivier Invite at Brophy Prep on Thursday (April 22).
