Who says 13 is an unlucky number?
Certainly
not Xavier Prep’s Gators, who listed a record 13 athletes signing collegiate
letters of intent on National Signing Day on Wednesday (Nov. 10).
In what has
been an annual tradition since 2000, athletes moving on to college gather for a
ceremony on the stage of the Virginia C. Piper Performing Arts Center, signing
their letters while wearing gear from their future school as family members and
friends look on.
More
ceremonies are scheduled in January and again in April.
